I am sure you are aware that Eventing is an expensive hobby. I work full time balancing my hobby alongside my work. I feel I put a lot of effort in, but you only get out what you put in and it is extremely enjoyable. I am a consistent rider and my horses welfare and enjoyment is my number one priority. Although I have ambitions and goals, I am flexible and willing to change if it is in the best interest of the horse.
I am very fortunate that I am a Brand Ambassador and Supported Rider for some awesome companies!

I am thrilled to have been asked to join the Brand Ambassador team for Tarrag Naegal. I love so many pieces in the collections its hard to decide on a favourite!
As my father was a farrier I feel the horseshoe nail collection is a little special. Dad used to quote the ‘For want of a nail’ poem (which was the inspiration for these designs by Wendy) when we were growing up
The nail represents everything being held together, which in eventing - and life - we often have to work hard at keeping it all together so the simple elegance of this design and what it represents is just perfect

Tricia designed these fantastic cooling and compression boots and won a BETA innovation award which was well deserved. I have never found anything to match or better these boots and I'm thrilled to have been working with Tricia for a while now. Cryochaps do exactly what they say they do, they are used daily on my horses after hard work as part of our management routine. I wouldn't be without them.
I have really enjoyed being part of the journey with Sarah from Rider Eye, a small company who make hiviz products aimed at riders. It is well worth checking out their products, I have found the speed camera tabard to be very useful riding on the roads and the hat bad and leg bands very bright - of course I had to have mine in orange but they are also available in pink and yellow!
In a recent #NSNextTopJockey sponsorship competition I was lucky enough to be their chosen winner for sponsorship for the coming season. Neue Schule uses cutting edge design and a considered approach to bitting of the horse, I am very fortunate to be working with Neue Schule to help me get the best out of Dwina and the gang.
The amazing Grossick photography family have been my first supporters. They are regularly seen at Cumbria Horse Trials events, and many racecourses around the country and it really is a family affair.
In 2014 when I was rushed to hospital following a bad car accident, Pam travelled daily to visit me in ICU. They are a fabulous, hard working family and I am proud to promote their business.

I can promise fun and enjoyment, along with a few labrador licks from my trusty 'Eventador'. I am very much a glass half full person and like to find positives in everything I do. I regularly post about our progress on social media including ambassador and supported rider specific posting when possible.
As an amateur eventer I compete with many people in the local area (I think I am quite recognisable being so orange!) and due to my fabulous followers and my travels with horses this is now growing further afield (I have followers as far as Australia!). I wear my supporters logos with pride and promote them whenever possible. The majority of my competing is around Scotland and Northern England although I do travel further for the bigger events and I have a bit of an ambition to compete in Europe at some point in the next couple of years so watch this space!
It would be wonderful to increase the team of fantastic supporters I have as every little helps in the world of keeping horses and supporting us in a small way can really make a huge difference
