Dear EcoVoltz and British Eventing Life
Wow what an amazing opportunity! I don’t approach companies normally to ask for sponsorship as I feel they are usually inundated with it so the opportunity to apply to be an ambassador is fantastic, thank you for this chance to apply. I have tried to keep my application short and sweet!
I have loved Ecovoltz since I competed at Thoresby last year and saw them in action (I’ve been saving up ever since!). As an amateur event rider I compete in and around Scotland and Northern England for national BE events and travel further afield for internationals. I am hopeful to venture into Europe one day to compete too so watch this space!
For 2022 I am aiming to compete three horses (Photo attached), juggling around my full time work as a lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Skills (I’m a Registered Vet Nurse). The aim is to compete at Intermediate and 3* with my main horse Kenny and BE100 with my amazing supportive, unpaid groom and best friend Sarah’s horse Larry (that’s if we can keep him off the sick bay as he is a bit accident prone!). My retired event mare Dwina is also showing me that retirement is not for her so she may make an appearance at 1*/Novice too!
In 2014 I was the passenger in a car crash and suffered multiple injuries (spinal fracture, spinal ligament damage, puncture lung, flailed chest, split liver, bruised kidney, gut tear and gut stasis) spending a few weeks in ICU and having spinal surgery - the worst part was being told I ‘probably’ wouldn’t ride again, but ‘probably’ was wrong and I returned to eventing thanks to an amazing loan horse called Classy Touch.
I am so fortunate to be able to ride again and I’m a very positive person with an optimistic outlook on everything I do. To document my recovery and beyond I started pages on social media and I’m still very active on there with Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook my main platforms. I post about my horses, dogs, educational work topics and exercising so I can promise an EcoVoltz bike would feature in many of my posts!
I would love to be selected to join the EcoVoltz Ambassador team, I love your company ethos; Independent company; manufacturing in the UK; using quality components and providing an excellent after-sales service. I would love to be part of your team.
An EcoVoltz bike would make a massive difference to my life and here is why…..
